First Day

So we arrived yesterday at about 2 pm and the flight wasn't too bad. Didn't sleep well but thats my only complaint. The city is awesome. We are still trying to find our way around and slowly, but surely, we are. Our first Italian class today was pretty interesting and tonight at the Irish pub we met some other students during their gap year from England. No class tomorrow so we're looking into going on the other side of the river and maybe going to some shops. Until next time...

So Little Time

This is the first post of many to my blog for my trip to Florence, Italy this summer. While the rest of the group leaves tomorrow, May 25th, I depart for Florence Saturday, May 28th because of my brothers wedding, which is Friday May 27th. Although I have a little more time to pack, I also have less time to get accustomed to the city of Florence before we start classes! I may be a bit more excited than others going on this trip just because I've been hearing how great it is from both my brother and sister, who also studied abroad on this same exact program. But, there's not much time for me to get things together!
